The Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez presented its Check Up Point at the V Ibero-American Road Safety Congress
The V CISEV was held in Santiago de Chile on November 7 - 9. One of the main aspects of the congress was "Vulnerable Users´ Safetyâ€. The Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez, represented by its Training Coordinator, Mathías Silva, delivered a presentation on "Check Up Points for Child Restraint Systems in Uruguayâ€.

An agreement to guarantee children´s road safety
The Declaration of Santiago was signed at the closing of FISEVI. Representatives from more than 30 countries expressed their concern about road crashes being the global main cause of death for those aged between 5 - 29; Latin America is one of the continents that suffers this tragedy the most.

Child Passenger Safety Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean
As prior activity to the 2nd International Child Road Safety Forum ( FISEVI ) -to be held in Santiago, Chile-, from Tuesday 7th to Saturday 11th of June, Fundación Gonzalo Rodriguez is carrying out a training on Child Passenger Safety for Child Restraint System importers.
