Promoting children safe transport in Salto

On Wednesday 27th September, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in Av. José Batlle y Ordóñez and Av. Blandengues (near Salto Shopping Centre), Salto’s Municipality and the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez organized a Check Up Point providing advice on the installation of Child Restraint Systems (child seats and/or boosters) in private vehicles.

The Check Up Point is a space in which Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez technicians certified in Child Passenger Safety verify the correct installation of the Child Restraint System (CRS) free of charge.

Training for enforcers

Prior to the Check Point, on Tuesday 26, Salto’s enforcement bodies, composed of Inspectors, Traffic Officers, the National Traffic Police and the Naval Prefecture were given a workshop on Child Passenger Safety by technicians from the Fundación.
