With the support of the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Thursday, September 9, we presented the work done on child road safety to the Uruguayan delegations of Panama, El Salvador and Colombia in order to collaborate through international cooperation in public policies that work on safe mobility.
The Foundation will soon set up a branch in Panama and is therefore particularly interested in presenting its "Central America Child Road Safety" project, in order to establish a line of work with these three countries.
The presentation was attended by Conrado Silveira, advisor of the General Directorate of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mariano Berro, executive director of AUCI and the president of the Foundation, María Fernanda Rodríguez.
The activity highlighted international cooperation as a key to progress in the development of Latin America within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, in order to move towards a comprehensive, equitable system that promotes multi-stakeholder and multi-level partnerships.
