The Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion was held in Tampere, Finland, on October 18 - 21, 2016. In this 12th edition the international conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion gathered important researchers, professionals, politicians, and advocates of injury prevention and safety to debate, discuss, and share information and experiences.

Precautions for all means of transport

School NA 329 "José Belloni” in Piedras Blancas was the first school to be part of the road safety workshop "I Travel Safely”. This workshop raising awareness about safe school transport was organized by the Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez with the support of Porto Seguro.

An agreement to guarantee children´s road safety

The Declaration of Santiago was signed at the closing of FISEVI. Representatives from more than 30 countries expressed their concern about road crashes being the global main cause of death for those aged between 5 - 29; Latin America is one of the continents that suffers this tragedy the most.

Child road safety as a priority - International Forum

Santiago de Chile will host the Second International Child Road Safety Forum (FISEVI) on June 16th and 17th. FISEVI is organized by Fundación Gonzalo Rodríguez and hosted by Chile´s Traffic National Commission and the Automobile Club of Chile.

Uruguay paints in yellow

On May 10th, the movement Mayo Amarillo was launched at Palacio Legislativo esplanade. Mayo Amarillo is a movement that was consolidated in Brazil in 2013, aiming to raise awareness about the high rates of deaths and injuries in traffic.
