New ways of working

The international pandemic unleashed by COVID-19 has meant that, among other things, we necessarily have to rethink our ways of working. On the way to this new normality in which we will surely end up living, the Gonzalo Rodríguez Foundation has developed new work schemes to be able to continue betting on Road Safety.

In this sense, a series of free webinars will be developed that will serve to replace, as far as possible, the face-to-face work that the foundation's technicians were carrying out. On 30/4, a webinar will be held for pregnant women and new parents (to find out what safety elements we need to have in the vehicles with newborn children) using the zoom platform. Others on Children's Road Safety, School Transportation, and Motorcycle Safety will also be conducted.

Following this path, the Foundation is finishing the development of its new educational portal; to be able to offer online courses and continue positioning itself as one of the most important actors in Road Safety throughout the continent. Currently, practically all of the trained in road safety for children in South America were trained by the Gonzalo Rodríguez Foundation; and with this new tool we are sure that we will be able to expand the transmission of knowledge.
