Gonchi Rodriguez Cultural Center begins its activities

The Gonchi Rodriguez Cultural Center was formally inaugurated on the occasion of another anniversary of Gonchi's death, which also marks the National Motorsports Day in honor of Gonzalo Rodriguez.

In this context, the Gonzalo Rodriguez Foundation together with the National Sports Secretariat held a meeting at the Gonchi Rodriguez Cultural Center, with the participation of national and departmental authorities, as well as different personalities from the national motor racing world.

During the event, the first edition of the "Gonzalo Rodríguez Awards" was presented, which recognize the best attitudes of Uruguayan motorsport, and celebrate the spirit of motorsport, in connection with talent and teamwork; and will be awarded in 2024.

With the inauguration, two permanent cultural facilities will open the center's doors and link the Foundation's work directly to culture.
