If we are to reduce the burden of road traffic injuries, it is essential the collaboration of the Academic world to ensure that policies are evidence based. In this regard, the joint initiative of Fundacion Gonzalo Rodriguez and AAAM to expose scholars from the Latin American region to cutting-edge research being carried out in other countries in the world is a solid basis towards building up capacity in the region”

Travel Stipends: An economic class air ticket and 3 hotel nights will be covered by the organizations

To apply: Describe research problems in Road Safety in LAC countries with the objective of Saving lives and eliminating road traffic injuries.

Fields of Interest: Researchers from medicine, psychology, biomechanics, engineering, epidemiology, statistics, education, law, and public policy are invited to submit work studying the prevention of injury in mobility and transportation.

Fluent in English is required
